It may sound complicated, but it is truly as simple as sending an email. The digtial impression data is then recieved by the lab almost instantaniously. If necessary, the dentist and lab technician can view the data simultaniously to discuss the case.
Once the digital impression is checked for accuracy, the lab can send the data to Sirona and they will make an extremely accurate and precise model made through stereo lythography. All this is being done while the lab is designing and milling the restoration of choice by the dentist. The model arrives through mail and the restoration is then finished with the precision and expertise you have come to expect from Precision Dental Arts.
